..i don't know..

i just got back from an interview in minnetonka. minnetonka is about 25 minutes from st. paul.. so i was like 5 minutes late for the interview but the lady who interviewed me didn't show concern about my tardiness. i'm pretty sure the place i interviewed at today was similar to the very first assisted living program i lived in when i lived in the very first apartment i lived in at minneapolis on 3rd ave. so i was familiar with the assisted living program and the environment for older people because the first apartment i lived in was in an assisted living program for old people also. i told her about the very first group assisted living medical foster home i lived in buffalo when i first came outta my coma. so needless to say- i'm used to living around older people and i told her that my grandparents basically raised me- so i was comfortable in environments with older people. the only reason why she wouldn't give me the job was because i was only like 5 minutes late but like i said- she didn't make a big deal about it, i was actually the one who brought it up to apologize for being late. it feels like i've already interviewed here but i have that feeling about almost every one of my previous interviews though. i'm not going to put confidence in this interview though because she'll probably come across someone who lives closer that is also qualified to work the job. she asked me about how i was disabled and i told her about how i went through the dashboard of a car in the passenger seat of a car driven by my friend who was drinking and the guy in the back died- i told her that both of us had our seatbelts on and the driver didn't and he's living his life like nothing happened. she said to me, "and you're here struggling just to live.. while he's living his life.. isn't that how it always goes?" and i sighed and said, "yeah. i wrote speeches for mothers against drunk driving so what happened to me doesn't happen to anyone else." she said, "thank you for that. i'll get back to you next week about the job." i forgot if she said the exact day though. just gonna have to keep searching..
